Rhetoric

When we were considering which country to tour, we weren't quite sure Germany was the best pick. Now, if the question was asked of what country I would want to go to most it wouldn't take a moment of hesitation or thought. Germany would be an easy answer, without a doubt. Nothing I've ever seen before has had more beauty, allure, and magnificence. The countless cathedrals, amazing nature, and historical sites provided us with unbelievable adventures and experiences! Trust me if you could see it, you'd feel as though you were living a dream! In Germany, one-third of the country remains covered in forests and woodlands. (LOGOS) Everywhere I go in the U.S. I see construction and trees being destroyed. But it was extremely refreshing to be in Germany where nature was flourishing everywhere you looked. The Saxon Switzerland National Park, the Black Forest, and the Rhine Valley Trip were the same as walking in a fairytale: the stone structure of the Bastei Bridge within the bright green leaves, the sun's rays shining through the darkness of the forest, and the bright blue of the water.

Based on an article from theculturetrip.com, "Germany is one of the most powerful nations in the world, and also one of the most beautiful." (ETHOS) The website, culturetrip, is a great website for travel advice, meaning if they says the nation's great... it's great! Plus, we would completely agree with this statement after our spectacular experience. Right from the start, walking off the plane, the elegance took our breath away. In my opinion, the U.S. is nothing compared to Germany. Looking at the villages and the nature give you this feeling of purity and happiness; wherever you walk in Germany you can look around and be overtaken by satisfaction. It's like everything you look at is pleasing to the eye! Germany is a country of diversity with a variety of experience for a multitude of different tastes! There's something fun to go to for any tourist who enters the country... whether its viewing any of the seventy-five cathedrals or going to the Berlin Wall! Another aspect of Germany food-lovers will enjoy is the delicious cuisine! There are over 1,500 types of German sausage and nothing comes close to the ones we ate there. We all are familiar to being given a plate where the food covers only half the plate. In Germany, they provide you a complete plate, filled to the brim with deliciousness. For older adults, you will love nothing more than to try the country's variety of authentic beers. Additionally, there is a common stereotype that has been thrown around that Germans don't necessarily like small talk. After our trip, we are certain that this is wrong. We talked with many Germans and not a single one was rude; rather, we learned a little something from each one. It was great interacting with them because you could go on for at least fifteen minutes comparing cultures (an amazing way to learn more about diversity)! Another good thing about going here is that you don't have to worry about miscommunications because many Germans actually speak English!

Germany is the home of adventure! It is the home of celebration! It is the home of the greatest tourist attractions! And most importantly, it is a home to you, or at least you'll wish it was after you go! The happiness that rushes through your body can never be replaced! The memories we created in this spectacular country are ones that will last a lifetime! Go and create these wonderful memories, too! (PATHOS) Whether you are taking a stroll through Berlin or looking above at the Neuschwanstein Castle your jaw will be dropped! I can guarantee you will never be happier than when you are on German soil! Haven't you wanted to go on excursion to see the heart of Europe? Each part of the trip we went on was worth while.

Nature

Words couldn't explain the nature you will find when you visit Germany! A combination of land and water will mesmerize you! The Rhine Valley will have you wishing you could buy a house right on the water! You will never want to leave the Black Forest, nor climb down from the Bastei Bridge! The bright green and blue colors signify the flourishing nature! The panoramic views from the trip have been instilled in my mind. If you go to Germany, you will return with memories that when thought of will bring back pictures of these astounding locations. You'll have to wait and see for yourself!

Innovation

This trip has shown us the brilliance of Germany! They have the potential to create many technological advancements. Visiting the BMW museum was a great experience, showing us the history of cars. Haven't you ever wondered how cars are made? Germany will answer that question! Take a tour of the BMW headquarters and view over 125 of the nation's most valuable vehicles!

History

Berlin, one of the most beautiful city's in the world, is home to many museums. We've all heard of the Berlin Wall, but have you ever imagined seeing it in real life? I'm not the biggest fan of history, but even this educational and emotional experience had me wanting more! When most people hear of Germany an association comes to mind with the Holocaust! Visiting a concentration camp is an important monument to see in life! While the nature of Germany is lovely, nothing can compare to the emotions that rush through your body when standing in one of the camps. It's important to learn about what happened and to devote a time of remembrance to those who suffered. It is both harrowing and heartbreaking, but is also a site that teaches you about reality and that history shouldn't repeat itself!

Culture

You don't have to go to a specific location to experience culture in Germany; it surrounds you. Walking on the streets of Germany and listening to others speak is experiencing culture! To be honest the whole trip was us learning about German culture. We saw the activities and lifestyles of Germans as we ventured throughout the most famous locations and largest cities!

Sports

Germany is known for soccer! Ellie, Logan, and I are extreme soccer fans and we couldn't believe that we would be able to watch Bayern Munich play. They are my favorite soccer team and, in my opinion, the best in the Bundesliga. It wasn't only the soccer that made the game memorable, but it was the stadium. The Allianz Stadium was huge, the grass was bright green, and the seats were packed. Watching Bayern was a fantasy as it was astounding to watch their footwork and the speed at which they moved the ball. Even if you're not a soccer fan you can still enjoy the afternoon because of the environment (ask Grace and Ella)!
